As leaves change colour, the turning of the year is at hand. The nights are getting colder and I may need to build a shelter for Gust and myself. If any one is willing to help build it or is able to donate anything - clothes, shoes, supplies - it'd be most appreciated.

I'd be willing to exchange herbs, meats, anything like that.

Who is human? What is humanity? I have heard tell of and witnessed such atrocities committed by 'humans' that I do not think they deserve the name. But it is not my path or duty to judge. I have seen 'beasts' that are caring and loving. I have witnessed the effected of the wild magic doing disastorous things to people.

Definitions that society had before have no meaning. We cannot be stuck on words when there is something greater to do. There can be no squabbles when we need cooperation. This magic is stronger than all of us and it uses no rules we know of. Survival is not guaranteed, but there is still a shred of hope.

What is a mask but a reflection of what we wish to be if we are not happy with ourselves? It allows us to pretend, to be the other, to get outside of the self. Do we fear our inner selves so much that we must run from them and create a world of make believe?

People argue that magic is nothing but make believe. But magic is real, it is all around us, in the land, sea, and sky. It permeates everything. It has been here since before we arrived and will remain long after we are gone. If there is anything that is eternal, that is it.

I seem to have acquired another pet. I'm in the woods west/northwest from the western gate.
This one won't fit in my satchel.
